 Auto Bild (ISSN 0930-7095) is a leading German automobile magazine. It is published by Axel Springer AG, and first appeared in 1986. Every week, Europe’s biggest automobile magazine provides information on the most important trends and latest developments in the world of motor vehicles. Road trials and comparative tests give the reader practical assistance in deciding which new or used car to buy.

Axel Springer AG is one of the largest newspaper publishing companies in Europe, having over 150 newspapers and magazines in over 30 countries, including several central and eastern European countries: Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia and western European countries: Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, more than 10,000 employees with annual revenues and income on the scale of a billion euros. It was started in 1946/1947 by journalist Axel Springer. Its current CEO is Mathias Döpfner.
